An Update to our Preorder and Return Policies
Hey there folks. Just here to provide a quick update regarding our Preorder Policy (published here) and Returns Policy (published here) that comes into effect for any order made after 12.00am AEST 10 December 2025.
The update is as follows:
Your Rights
- You are able to cancel your preorder at any time prior to the product being fulfilled and receive a full refund (except for Trading Card Game products - see below).
Cancellation of Trading Card Game Preorders
Preorders for Trading Card Game products (that is Magic: the Gathering, Pokemon: Trading Card Game, Star Wars: Unlimited, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound: a League of Legends Trading Card Game, or any similar trading card game or product that includes collectible cards) may be cancelled any time prior to the in-store release of the product for a full refund, otherwise the following restocking fees will apply:
- A restocking fee equal to 10% the sale value will be retained from preorder cancellations made seven (7) days AFTER a TCG item has been made available for collection.
- A restocking fee equal to 50% the sale value will be retained from preorder cancellations made one (1) month AFTER a TCG item has been made available for collection.
- Automatic cancellation of the order and restocking fee equal to 90% the sale value will be retained three (3) months AFTER a TCG item has been made available for collection.

This means that a rectocking fee is now payable out of the refund on all TCG preorders that are cancelled due to change of mind from seven days AFTER they have been made available for pickup.
This change in policy is designed to ensure the store isn't left holding the bag on products we have, in most cases, specifically requested an expansion of allocations for and disincentivises those looking to preorder product based on its resale value then cancelling it after the release when the resale value falls.
To prevent a work-around of receiving a preorder, then immediately returning it for a change of mind, we are also updating our Return Policy with the following change:
- Trading Card Game products, sealed or not, cannot be returned due to change of mind.
Please Note: None of the above can deny you your Consumer Rights under Australian Consumer Laws. In the event of a legitimately faulty product, or a product is deemed 'unfit for purpose', under Australian Law, you are guaranteed a refund, replacement or repair under Australian Consumer Laws.
