Journey of Discovery will significantly expand the possibilities for both deck construction and strategic play.

This set will also come with 28 newly illustrated cards centered around characters from FINAL FANTASY VIII. Also included as an extremely rare Special card is Terra [27-014H], showcasing a brand-new illustration Fumio Minagawa, and featuring his signature foil-stamped on a card for the first time.

This set is designed to appeal not only to players but also to collectors and is sure to resonate with many existing players and FINAL FANTASY fans. In addition, Legacy cards - powerful cards from the past selected for inclusion as premium full art cards continue to be featured in these booster packs. The following three cards are included in this set: Regis [12-122L], Neo Exdeath [21- 074L], and Ace [22-116L].

Special cards and Legacy cards are not only for collection purposes as they can both be used in official tournaments, just like normal cards.

Card Count:

  • Normal: 121 cards 
  • Premium: 163 cards (of these, 129 are premium versions of normal cards, 32 are full art cards, one is a Special card, and one is a Crystal card)

  • One (1) pack contains 12 cards 
  • One (1) display box contains 18 packs 
  • One (1) premium card included per pack

Please note that the Buy-a-Box Promo card will no longer be included with display box purchases, starting with the “Journey of Discovery” booster packs. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. 

Note: The number of packs included in a carton will be 108 packs (6 boxes), or half the number of packs compared to previous sets. The number of packs in a master carton will not change.

    Shipment Processing Time

    All orders, if the item was in-stock at the time of purchase, are processed within 2 business days of the order being placed, or, if the item was out of stock at the time of purchase, within 2 business days of the product arriving in store.

    Preorders are processed in a timeframe that allows for the product to arrive on or after the release date.

    If an item is 'Order-in', it can vary how long this item takes to come into stock from our suppliers. If in stock at our supplier, it is likely to be 2-3 weeks to arrive in store. Other times, items may be out of stock at suppliers, and while we do our best to ensure our website it up to date, we have thousands of products on our site, and technology hasn't quite caught up for us to pull information from all our suppliers and the availability of each and every product, and have this update regularly. If you require a product ETA, please contact us at the time you place your order.

    Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

    If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

    Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

    Orders (including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers) will be shipped via our shipping client Shippit, which includes courier partners such as Couriers Please, Aramex, and AusPost Parcel Post at a flat rate of $15 per order. Please note parcels have authority to leave, unless you request otherwise.

    If shipped via Standard Parcel Post, it is up to the discretion of the individual courier whether your parcel is left at your residence or taken to the nearest depot or post office. We do not have any control of a parcel once it has been picked up from our store(s).

    Express Post orders are shipped via the Aus Post Express service and are charged at a $28 flat rate. Please note that not all post codes are covered by this service.

    Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, or by weather events.
