In Medium: The Hand of Fate, players act as psychic mediums to access thoughts. In pairs, you determine the “Medium”, the word connecting two cards, and say it together. Share that magical moment of a perfect match!

This standalone version adds new ways to sync minds and predict the future. Whether playing in a large group or facing Madame Fortuna in the new 2-player variant, the only right answer is what your partner is thinking. Best of all, this game can be combined with any other Medium title to explore limitless possibilities.

Features:

  • Harness Extra Special Powers: Unlock your full potential with ESP cards that grant unique, one-time abilities. Use Divination to steal words from an opposing team after they fail a match or use Incantation to banish a specific word, preventing your rivals from saying it during their turn.
  • Predict the Future: Stay engaged even when you are not the active team by using the new Prediction module. Secretly foretell whether your opponents will succeed or fail on their first attempt to earn Hand of Fate tokens. This adds a layer of strategy and interaction for everyone at the table.
  • Team Up Against Madame Fortuna: Master the brand new 2-player variant where you and a partner join forces to take on the wise Madame Fortuna. In this challenging cooperative mode, every failed match attempt gives points to the Madame, forcing you to sync your thoughts perfectly to win the game.

Shipment Processing Time

All orders, if the item was in-stock at the time of purchase, are processed within 2 business days of the order being placed, or, if the item was out of stock at the time of purchase, within 2 business days of the product arriving in store.

Preorders are processed in a timeframe that allows for the product to arrive on or after the release date.

If an item is 'Order-in', it can vary how long this item takes to come into stock from our suppliers. If in stock at our supplier, it is likely to be 2-3 weeks to arrive in store. Other times, items may be out of stock at suppliers, and while we do our best to ensure our website it up to date, we have thousands of products on our site, and technology hasn't quite caught up for us to pull information from all our suppliers and the availability of each and every product, and have this update regularly. If you require a product ETA, please contact us at the time you place your order.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Orders (including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers) will be shipped via our shipping client Shippit, which includes courier partners such as Couriers Please, Aramex, and AusPost Parcel Post at a flat rate of $15 per order. Please note parcels have authority to leave, unless you request otherwise.

If shipped via Standard Parcel Post, it is up to the discretion of the individual courier whether your parcel is left at your residence or taken to the nearest depot or post office. We do not have any control of a parcel once it has been picked up from our store(s).

Express Post orders are shipped via the Aus Post Express service and are charged at a $28 flat rate. Please note that not all post codes are covered by this service.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, or by weather events.
