How does it work?
The game features three scenarios that can be played individually or combined into one overarching campaign. Your journey unfolds through storybook passages that bring each moment to life—revealing new locations, choices, and the consequences of your actions as you explore. There are no fixed win or lose conditions; instead, you play to explore, uncover secrets, and shape a story that’s entirely your own.
Choose your Investigator!
You take on the role of an investigator, using your skills and the items you uncover along the way to push deeper into the mystery. Choose from 8 unique Investigators, each with their own profession, set of Attribute cards, and starting item.
There are always four Investigators in play. If you’re playing with fewer than four players, the remaining characters take on the role of NPCs—ready to support you during the challenges you face along the way.
Check your Exploration Rate!
As you progress in your adventure you mark keywords whenever you encounter something significant. At the end of the scenario, those keywords will allow you to check the Exploration Rate of your game. When you know you didn’t discover something important, you can play again and reveal the story from a different angle!

Shipment Processing Time
All orders, if the item was in-stock at the time of purchase, are processed within 2 business days of the order being placed, or, if the item was out of stock at the time of purchase, within 2 business days of the product arriving in store.
Preorders are processed in a timeframe that allows for the product to arrive on or after the release date.
If an item is 'Order-in', it can vary how long this item takes to come into stock from our suppliers. If in stock at our supplier, it is likely to be 2-3 weeks to arrive in store. Other times, items may be out of stock at suppliers, and while we do our best to ensure our website it up to date, we have thousands of products on our site, and technology hasn't quite caught up for us to pull information from all our suppliers and the availability of each and every product, and have this update regularly. If you require a product ETA, please contact us at the time you place your order.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Orders (including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers) will be shipped via our shipping client Shippit, which includes courier partners such as Couriers Please, Aramex, and AusPost Parcel Post at a flat rate of $15 per order. Please note parcels have authority to leave, unless you request otherwise.
If shipped via Standard Parcel Post, it is up to the discretion of the individual courier whether your parcel is left at your residence or taken to the nearest depot or post office. We do not have any control of a parcel once it has been picked up from our store(s).
Express Post orders are shipped via the Aus Post Express service and are charged at a $28 flat rate. Please note that not all post codes are covered by this service.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, or by weather events. If you feel your order has been significantly delayed, in the first instance, we ask you contact Shippit via their contact service, if they do not respond, please contact us at https://vaultgames.com.au/pages/contact-us.
