The Rich and the Good is the new edition of Carlo Rossi’s cult classic Hab & Gut, with a completely new graphic design, still featuring Michael Menzel’s great art, and a new 2-players game mode.
In the game, you trade in commodities from all over the world, and you have access to inside information to aid your investments and manipulate the markets. You are not alone in doing this, though. Your competitors also have a deep knowledge of the markets, and will be able to react to every one of your moves, while at the same time trading in the same precious commodities you have interests in. You must outwit and outsmart them!
However, personal wealth is not all it takes to rise to the top and become a powerful member of High Society. You have a reputation to uphold! In order to gain the respect of your peers, you must prove to be unselfish by making huge donations to charity. A selfish trader donating too little of their hard-earned wealth is out of the competition, regardless of their personal fortune…
The player with the most money at the end of the game wins, however, the player that donated the least money to charity, regardless of how much money they made, is eliminated before the winner is determined.
Shipment Processing Time
All orders, if the item was in-stock at the time of purchase, are processed within 2 business days of the order being placed, or, if the item was out of stock at the time of purchase, within 2 business days of the product arriving in store.
Preorders are processed in a timeframe that allows for the product to arrive on or after the release date.
If an item is 'Order-in', it can vary how long this item takes to come into stock from our suppliers. If in stock at our supplier, it is likely to be 2-3 weeks to arrive in store. Other times, items may be out of stock at suppliers, and while we do our best to ensure our website it up to date, we have thousands of products on our site, and technology hasn't quite caught up for us to pull information from all our suppliers and the availability of each and every product, and have this update regularly. If you require a product ETA, please contact us at the time you place your order.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Orders (including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers) will be shipped via our shipping client Shippit, which includes courier partners such as Couriers Please, Aramex, and AusPost Parcel Post at a flat rate of $15 per order. Please note parcels have authority to leave, unless you request otherwise.
If shipped via Standard Parcel Post, it is up to the discretion of the individual courier whether your parcel is left at your residence or taken to the nearest depot or post office. We do not have any control of a parcel once it has been picked up from our store(s).
Express Post orders are shipped via the Aus Post Express service and are charged at a $28 flat rate. Please note that not all post codes are covered by this service.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, or by weather events.
