Hey there gamers. Dylan here to give y'all a little rundown on some boundaries when it comes to the Vault Games team. I want to start by saying that, for a vast majority of vault customers, this won't apply. But we thought it good to reiterate given all of the newcomers this year both at the stores' tables, and behind the counter.

1 - Respect the Lanyard. If it's on, they're trying to do their job and you should be treating them as the professionals they are. If you need assistance looking for an item, they'll help you as best as they can. If you are participating in an event, listen to what they tell you. They're trying to help everyone have a fun time in the store. Disrespect towards a Vault team member can get you tossed from the store for the day, or banned altogether.

2 - Lanyard off = Off the clock. The cool thing about Vault is that our team love the hobbies around here, and can usually be found in-store in their off time as well. If their lanyard is off though, don't ask them questions about the store. They may need the break. This goes for Discord as well. Team members will engage when they want to when they're off the clock. Please don't expect them to engage with you any time you want.

3 - Don't cold contact team members. I understand it may be tempting to contact team members via Facebook or Discord messaging, or request a friend connection on social media, but please don't do any of that unless the team member has specifically said it's ok. At best, it's creepy AF and at worst, it can get you banned from the stores. If you need to contact someone about an event or order, it's best to reply to an order confirmation email, message the relevant store's Facebook page, or use the customer-support channel in the community Discord Server.

4 - In-Lanyard Team Members are working. Despite what we try to present, there is a large and complex engine running behind the scenes at Vault. And that engine requires tasks to be completed and events to run on time. A chat here and there is ok, but please don't actively distract our team from doing their job, and please don't be offended if they need to end a conversation to get back to work.

5 - Don't be Inappropriate. This should go without saying, but we've had to ban people in the past due to inappropriate statements about our team. Just don't do it.

Thanks for respecting these boundaries with team, and enjoy your holidays! I can't wait to game with y'all in 2026!
